How to Clean and Protect your Dress Trims:
Whilst these wheel trims will provide a bright cosmetic lift to your vehicle/trailer/caravan, they will demand some regular maintenance to keep them looking at their best.
Wheel Trim's worst enemies
Brake dust shed by your vehicle's brake pads/shoes contains metal particles that with heat become highly corrosive. As a result of the amount of brake dust produced by modern brake compounds, frequent cleaning becomes essential. In addition, trims fitted to caravans and/or trailers must avoid immersion or proximity to salt water, again due to the corrosive nature that environment.
Wheel Trim Fitment
These Wheel Trims will fit most standard steel wheel rims, they must be free from obstructions such as wheel balance weights. The have simple press on clips and excessive for should not be applied or you may damage the clips, also the clips may scratch the paint on your wheels.
